Presidential Posture (Denver Chiropractor Tells All)
Presidential Posture (Denver Chiropractor Tells All)
Leaders use their bodies to influence their followers. They know how they stand and move is impactful, so they do everything they can to achieve a president carriage. Whether they’re getting off a plane, walking onto a stage, entering a room or sitting in front of dozens of cameras, they are “on” and using their posture to influence others.
Trump’s Posture
Trump’s stance is studied and practiced. He went through military training as a young man and automatically stands like a general.
He is 70 years old and maintains a schedule that would wear out most men half his age. His posture rarely reveals fatigue, or a loss of composure.
Hillary’s Posture
Hillary wants to make herself more likable. She smiles, waves, and attempts to draw people in.
When she’s under attack, she sits back and does not get defensive. Her demeanor shows she’s still in charge. The other side may be “punching”, but none of the blows “connect”. It’s almost as if she’s saying, “Nice try, but you’re not getting to me!”
Who Will Win?
Posture alone will not win the election. However, with few exceptions, you don’t get to be president unless you’re stance is strong and appealing. People vote for a figure that looks like a leader. It’s revealing that the president with the worst posture (Nixon), was the only one to be forced to resign from office.
The candidate who wins in November may be the one who can adopt their posture best to any situation, Perhaps it will be someone strong yet flexible.
