Denver Chiropractor Teaches Meditation
A frequent objection to meditation in Denver is; my mind wanders! That's the nature of our minds, they're working all the time and go everywhere.
HERE'S THE SECRET TO MEDITATION IN DENVER
If you want to learn to center yourself, sit in a relaxed place with the phone and television off. Relax, wear something comfortable. Sit in a chair upright and focus your mind on one thing. It could be the word "RAM". If you repeat the word to yourself slowly, and intermittently, you will become more relaxed. You may feel like you're floating. You'll know that you are in a state of meditation because you're not asleep, just relaxed.
Doing this twice daily, for 20 minutes, is good for your mind body and spirit.
AM I DOING IT RIGHT?
With practice, you'll get better at it. As you progress, you'll "get there" faster. You'll notice that you feel like you're floating, you're aware and relaxed but certainly not asleep. When you stand up after meditation, you'll feel refreshed and you'll know you've done it correctly. Give it a try!
