Back Pain Tips from a Chiropractor

Local specialist reveals “Patients are Getting Wrong Care for Low Back Pain”

Read this report carefully and discover the biggest mistakes most people make when treating low back pain.  It’s easy to get well if you’ll stop doing the wrong things.  If you’re suffering low back pain it may be because you’ve been taught the wrong things to do to help yourself.

Are You Still Doing Straight Leg Raises?

Straight leg raises in most instances are the worst thing you can do for your low back.  Even though you may have been taught this by a doctor or therapist, it may be hurting you.

Are you taking Advil or Ibuprophen, etc. for back pain?

There are better ways to care for your back.  These medications slow down healing.  Just because something feels good, does not mean it’s good for you.

Big Mistakes Most People Make

Heating pads are one of the worst things you can do to your low back.  Electrical currents close to your body are never a good idea.  Heating pads tend to pool fluids deep in the spine and aggravate low back pain.

More Stupid Ideas from People Who Should Know Better

The Internet and even doctors and therapists share outdated ideas about care for low back pain.  Some of these ideas are;

  • “Rest, lay in bed!” This is an old idea that can make back pain worse.
  • “Wait, we’re going to monitor your condition.” This usually means; “we’re going to wait till it gets so bad you need surgery”.  Don’t become a victim of needless surgery.

Is There Hope For You?

Maybe you’ve been to other doctors, had lots of tests and wasted a lot of money and time.

There are systems inside you that can heal you.  If you get proper care for your back and avoid activities and treatments that slow down healing, you could recover.  Your body has self-healing qualities.  If you establish balance, you will stand your best chance of being well.  Don’t give up! With the right program you could get back to leading an active, fun life again.

If you’re ready for a different kind of program that works with your body’s natural self-healing qualities, give my center a call.  My name is Dr. Visentin, D.C.  I’ve helped 1,000’s of Denver and Aurora residents avoid drugs, surgery and time consuming physical therapy.  Below is a neighbor’s recent online review of my service.

Dr. V is one of the best! I have been to quite a few chiropractors, but the care you get here is unbeatable. I came to Care Chiropractic with lower back pain, tingling/numbness and fatigue in my legs. After three weeks of treatment the leg symptoms and back pain were gone!! He uses a variety of different treatments so there are options for your comfort level. After my first adjustment Dr. V took the time to call me at 7:00 on a Sunday night to see how I was feeling. He also came in on his day off to help my wife. I have never had a doctor care so much about helping myself and my family! Dr. V and his staff are the best, and I highly recommend them! – T. Tuel

 Obviously I can’t help everyone reading this article but if you call now you can receive; a professional spinal analysis FREE, thorough history FREE, therapeutic massage table FREE, and diagnosis FREE! (X-rays and adjustments not included)
