Healing Ukraine in Denver CO
Healing Ukraine in Denver CO
War refugees are being welcomed by President Biden, and Governor Polis to Colorado. A Denver chiropractor is offering them free services to help them recover from the stress of the invasion. Dr. Visentin says: “It’s terrible, they’ve lost everything. I want to do my part to help the new refugees recover and make a new life for themselves.”
There are 5.6 million Ukrainian refugees. Most of them are escaping to neighboring countries but President Biden made a commitment to 100,000 fleeing Russian aggression. Governor Polis says Colorado is ready to welcome them as well.
Denver is Doing It’s Part
All over Denver people are flying Ukrainian flags and wondering what they can do to relieve a painful unprovoked invasion.
Local chiropractor “Dr. V.” as he is affectionally called, says he’s ready to do what he can. “I put flags in front of my clinic and a sign out front offering free care in order to relieve stress naturally.” For many years, Dr. Visentin’s clinic has provided services to American soldiers. He helped them recover from improvised explosive device injuries and posttraumatic stress disorder. He stated; “This new war isn’t going away, it’s affecting the entire world and I’m doing my part to help.”
We can’t imagine what the Ukrainians have experienced in fighting and adapting to a new country and culture. They need community support after everything they’ve been through. Care Chiropractic respects the values and sacrifices of the newcomers, and is committed to welcoming them to Denver by helping them with care to reduce stress naturally, and adjust to life in their new country.
