According to researchers, cellphone use can be more dangerous than drunk driving. Most people agree it’s wrong but we continue to do it anyway. We’re all too busy to wait for a better time to communicate. It’s so bad, that in 2018 cellphone use resulted in 1.6 million crashes! Official statistics report one out of every four traffic accidents are caused this way. Younger drivers are most likely to drive distracted.
Avoid Being Distracted While Driving in Denver With These Tips
There is a lot we can do to stay off the phone;
- Set your cell to silent,
- Turn it off completely, or
- Place it in the trunk or glove box.
